All About Home Health

  • Average hospital length of stay after fall-related injuries in 11.6 days

  • Falls are the leading cause of death from injury in the elderly

  • More than 1/3 of adults over age 65 fall each year

  • 50% of persons hospitalized after a fall with never be able to live independently again

  • Of those hospitalized, only 50% will be alive one year later
